Traditionally celebrating wines and winegrowers since 1938, the Saint Vincent Tournante is the event not to be missed in Burgundy. This year, it occurs in Macon, on 24th and 25th January.
Every year, at the end of January, one village caters for the demonstration. The date of this party equally corresponds to a transition period for vines, at the end of winter and at the waking-up of spring.
During these days, every wine-producing village or town of the viticultural coast celebrates the Saint-Vincent according to the custom.
For the first time in Burgundian history, wine-growers of the “Mâconnais” region will welcome the Saint-Vincent Tournante. During the week-end your taste bud will be excited and you will discover “les Mâcons”, a young and vigorous appellation, to be served with a typically Burgundian cooking.
Many entertainments and shows will take place for an extraordinary Saint-Vincent.
